Devil May Cry

Netflix released yet another animated show based on a game franchise. DMC is a long time favourite of mine and I have to say I enjoyed the show. Worth watching if you liked the games. And judging from my wife's reaction even if you did not. It is obviously not a second Arcane, but that is a standard we should not hold any show to. Dante has his usual sarcastic and questionable good jokes and they managed to not make him a clown and litter the whole show with them. If anything at all they tuned it down a bit too much. And the soundtrack really hit the right spot - Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Evanescence,... how couldn't it?!

Capcom’s marketing team had a great idea and discounted the games when the show released. So if you have not played them, now is a good time to get the 5th game or the franchise pack.

DMC 5 is just an amazing game. 1 and 3 were also quite good and for some people the best in the franchise. But even with the HD remake controls and camera did not age very well. DMC 2 is a game you might want to skip. The story is kind of off, music is mid compared to the other installments,... IMHO it did not live up to the other parts. DMC 4 had some bugs on PC, they might be fixed. But it is also the first time you can play as Vergil and Lady, for that alone a must play in the series.
